Travelling to Europe with Treyn Holidays

As well as discovering a great location and all of its treasures, many of our European train journeys also include excursions so that guests can experience the cultural, historical and natural highlights of the area they are visiting. These can range from city sightseeing tours to voyages on heritage or narrow-gauge railways that give you incredible views of stunning scenery and natural wonders. Sometimes we recruit the help of a local guide who can give you a great insight into the history and culture of the place visited, as well as being able to advise on the area's best-kept secrets. In addition to excursions we also try to include some free time for our guests to explore the location independently, perhaps taking in a sight for a second time or exploring something at their own pace.

We plan our European train journeys to visit destinations when they are at their most beautiful or when there is something significant happening in the area, such as a cultural celebration.
