Travel in comfort with plenty of leg room as you journey from place to place and witness new landscapes unfold before your carriage window. Our train breaks are carefully organised to avoid rush hour travel times, early starts and late arrivals wherever possible. We believe that the journey is as much a part of your holiday as everything else so we make sure that our tours are relaxing and comfortable so that every guest gets the most out of their train breaks. At each destination you arrive at, explore the tantalising sights and sounds of new and exciting towns and cities, either independently or on one of our organised excursions. The selection of excursions that are detailed in the itineraries of our train breaks are escorted by your Tour Manager and are included within the price of your holiday unless otherwise stated. Excursions are specially chosen by us to give you the best insight into the cultures and lifestyles of each place that you visit on our train breaks but they are not compulsory. If there is something else you would rather see or do, your Tour Manager will be all too happy to help.

There are train breaks available to suit all budgets, from a short weekend break in Europe to a fortnight or longer travelling across the USA. On some tours you will get the unique opportunity to spend nights on board the train as it travels through the night. Your cosy compartment is transformed in the evening from a sofa to comfortable beds, allowing you to wake up the next morning feeling refreshed and ready to investigate the new location that you have arrived at. Otherwise the accommodation that is used on our train breaks is in specially selected hotels that are well placed for proximity to the main sights, offering a welcoming atmosphere and a high standard of service. There are train breaks that take you down through the diverse landscapes of the continent to a cruise ship, where you will spend a unique holiday sailing along some of the most scenic rivers in Europe on board your own floating hotel, docking at various riverside towns along the way.
