Great Value Train Trips with Treyn

The prices of our tours include all travel and accommodation along with a comprehensive programme of excursions and a selection of meals. The train trips are such great value that many of our guests tell us that they cannot believe how little extra they spent whilst they were away. The excursions that are included on our train trips have been carefully chosen by our experts because they introduce you to the highlights of the region that you visit. Whether you are discovering the beauty of Austria's Tyrol or exploring the fairy-lit Christmas markets of Germany, there will be an array of new sights every day of your train trip. A local guide may join your Tour Manager on selected excursions to share their knowledge of the local area's history, culture and attractions with the group. Some of the most popular excursions are train trips on heritage and narrow-gauge railways such as the Glacier Express and Keighley and Worth Valley Steam Railway. These journeys tunnel through mountains, loop into steep valleys and cross viaducts, passing phenomenal scenery, all of which can be enjoyed from the unique vantage point offered by your rail carriage.

The sociable atmosphere of our train trips is a highlight of many people's time with us. Mealtimes give you the chance to discuss the day's events with like-minded people, as do your rail journeys to and from each destination. We offer single and multi-destination holidays throughout the year, including festive breaks. Accommodation on our train trips is in hotels which offer a good quality of service, boast a convenient location and offer value for money. Hotels are normally centrally located so they offer easy access to the region's main attractions, however, if you have an on-going journey shortly after your arrival in a destination we choose a hotel close to the train station, for your convenience. Whenever possible we select family run hotels for our train trips because we feel that they offer a more personal service and a taste of the local culture.
