Lake Garda is Italy's largest lake and is situated in the historic town of Sirmione which is home to thermal springs and ancient Roman ruins.  During your time here you may want to visit the 'floating city' of Venice and partake in a guided walk which takes you to its cultural and historical highlights.  Whilst there, you could marvel at the wonderful architecture of St Marks Basilica or stroll along the Grand Canal.  Perhaps you just want to relax on a peaceful cruise around the lake so that you can admire the pretty villages and their bright white walls which contrast against the lush green hills.
