Bruges City Break (4* Hotel Ter Brughe) 2013

Wonderfully preserved Bruges is a beautiful medieval city with narrow twisting lanes and charming waterways. The city boasts a superb selection of shops and museums and is within easy reach of nearby towns and cities including Brussels and Ypres.

This 3-night city break includes accommodation at the charming 4* Hotel Ter Brughe which is set in a house that was built in 1553 and is now a listed building. The oldest part of the hotel is the vaulted cellar, which was used as a warehouse and today it serves as a magnificent setting for the hotel's breakfast room. The hotel is located on one of the most picturesque canals in Bruges close to the 14th century Augustine Bridge and only a few minutes from the central Market Square.

Other options include De Halve Maan brewery, which is a great place to learn all about Bruges' brewing pedigree. Should you wish to venture further afield, you could visit nearby Ypres, the town infamous for its centre-stage role in the First World War.
