Travelling by train has unique and enduring appeal, providing freedom and flexibility, convenience and comfort. The journey is also very much part of the holiday as you pass through ever changing scenery, with interesting sights and pleasurable stopovers en route.
Whisking you into Europe
Most Treyn holidays depart from St Pancras International in London, with the Eurostar taking just two hours to reach Paris or Brussels. A high-speed rail network makes every corner of Europe ever quicker and easier to reach by train.
Your dedicated Tour Manager
An integral part of a Treyn holiday is an experienced and friendly Tour Manager who will meet you at St Pancras International and remain on hand throughout the tour. They provide all the information or assistance you may need and ensure all the arrangements for hotels and excursions run smoothly.

From stopovers to your holiday base for several days, we've carefully selected hotels that provide high standards of quality, comfort and facilities, in convenient locations and often with distinctive style and character. Many meals are also included in the tour prices as specified, either at the hotels or as part of the excursions.
Personal and relaxed
The average group size is between 30-35 on most tours. We take every care to ensure customers enjoy a personal experience rather than feeling part of a crowd. Casual dress is perfectly acceptable for most tours although you may choose dressier options for special dinners and some of our cruising holidays.
Perfect for single travellers
Travelling as part of a group can be ideal for single travellers by providing the ease and confidence to explore independently, with the opportunity to share experiences and enjoy a convivial atmosphere as much as you please.
Travel light
Less is more when it comes to luggage. Although trains don't have the same restrictions as airlines, you may well have to lift your bags on and off trains, into luggage racks and into the hotels. As such we recommend one average size suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per person which should allow for all you'll need on our tours. The vertical suitcases with wheels and retractable handles are particularly appropriate.
The sightseeing excursions and transfers can be relatively demanding for travellers with limited mobility and porterage is not available. If you're in any doubt, our helpful advisers will be very happy to provide guidance on any tours you have in mind.
Door-to-door luggage service
To avoid carrying heavy suitcases, we recommend the 'Carry My Luggage' door-to-door delivery service, available on a one-way or return basis. Your luggage is collected from your home and delivered to your specified hotel in time for your arrival. Details and prices will be sent approximately 10 weeks before departure.
