Treyn Rail Journeys

All of our holidays are escorted by a professional Tour Manager, who is there to ensure that everything runs as planned whilst you are away, as well as to answer any questions that you may have. A local guide may also join your rail journey and Tour Manager on a selection of excursions to share their knowledge of the region's history and culture with the group. Whether you are on one of our standard or luxury rail holidays you will travel in comfort to ensure that you are as refreshed and relaxed as possible during and after your time with us. Most rail journeys are not overnight as accommodation is normally in a hotel and on journeys that are overnight a high standard of carriages are used. There is no "typical" hotel on your rail journey and accommodation is chosen due to the quality of its service and amenities, its value for money and its location. If guests are going to be staying in the same destination for a while we choose hotels that are close to nearby attractions, whilst  on occasions that guests will be going on a rail journey the next day we use hotels that are close to transport links.

Our wide range of train journeys include short breaks in the UK, festive breaks, special interest holidays and single traveller programmes. Each of these rail journeys includes a selection of excursions and meals as well as all accommodation and transport and the services of a Tour Manager. One of the main highlights for many of our guests on our rail journeys however, is the sociable group atmosphere of our holidays. Meal times become social events which allow you to share your stories about the day's activities with like-minded people. The many other bonuses of our rail journeys is the added safety of travelling in a group and the fact that you can relax, never having to plan further ahead than the next activity of the day as everything is arranged for you.
