From your ship you can sit back and enjoy the passing scenery from sun decks and observation lounges, giving you the chance to sightsee all day long. Travelling to your ship by train offers you similar advantages as you relax and glide past beautiful surroundings. Our river cruise holidays are the perfect opportunity to enjoy your environment from a different and exciting angle.

As you sail along the peaceful waterways of Europe you may wish to exit the ship during the day to indulge in a range of excursions. On many river cruises you are free to explore ports of call independently, taking charge of your own excursions, whilst on other cruises we may have some trips ashore pre-arranged. Each cruise itinerary states what is included on our river cruises, but as with all of our holidays you are free to spend each moment as you wish. When the ship stops you may wish to disembark and explore your nearby surroundings or simply stay onboard and relish in the facilities your floating hotel provides.
